On day 2 the wind was more consistent but we struggled on the start line and couldn't recover from there, leaving us with disappointing results.
On day 3 the weather gods were not in our favor once again, and after going out for a drift around, we didn't have enough wind to race.
The last day the wind came in, and we had a nice 15-20knts to test ourselves in. We struggled once again but we just soaked it all up and tried our best, being the only ones with a kite up around us on the last reach in 20knts.
Over the 5 days we learnt a lot to take to Perth with us, and we hope to bring it all together to see how far we can get up there.
We spent plenty of hours on Sunday night packing and stacking all the 420's and gear into the container for Perth, and making sure they would be safe. After a long regatta, we were all pretty tired when the last boat went in at 9.45 pm!!
We'll have one or two training sessions in club boats in the next few weeks and then off to Perth we go!! Can't wait!!
